You can book a lifestyle session for your family whenever you like, there is no age restriction for this session.

I would however book a month in advance so we have time plan your session and make sure everyone feels ready.

A lifestyle session is all bout capturing you and your family in there natural environment. We’ll have a pre-session consultation to go over what daily activities you would like to plan for your lifestyle session. We will also go over any questions you have.

A session can take place in your home or at a special local place that has meaning to you.

Each session is uniquely designed for you and your family. Its great to plan an activity you can do at home that will enage your children. Such as baking or painting.

For newborns or young babies the session is really relaxed, I come and capture you spending time with your new baby.

Many of the items used during sessions are everyday items your baby uses or plays with. For example, your sweetheart’s first teddy, blanket etc, are very welcome at the session and I will try my best to incorporate them in the photos.

Newborn photography sessions are best in the first three weeks of the babies life. The reason for this is pretty cute as the baby is still accustomed to the womb position. This can result in adorable baby portraits you won’t be able to get enough of. Newborn sessions are up to three hours long, this is so we can take breaks if baby need too.

However, I will never turn away an older baby for a newborn for a session. I am very experienced in photographing older babies and can still create wonderful images for you, please still get in touch.

Sessions begin at 10 am and lasts up to 3 hours per shoot. With newborn photography sessions, not only are you getting a photographer who devotes quality time and energy to each project, but there is plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, nappy changes, as well as changes of props and blankets.
